Mandala Art, paintings by Wendy Hicks, will be on display June 3rd-28th in our cafe gallery.

The public is invited to a meet the artist reception on Saturday, June 7th from 2-4 p.m.

The mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form and it’s a creation signifies the transformation of a universe of suffering into one of joy. It can be used as an aid to meditation, helping the meditator to envision how to achieve the perfect self.

Artist’s Statement: Wendy Hicks is a New England girl through and through. She also considers herself a hippie at heart. Finding herself lost in her art is where she finds inner peace. All of her art is hand painted and created from my own imagination. No stencils were used or harmed in their creation. Each piece is unique.
