These individuals have been detained or imprisoned solely for exercising their freedom of expression and includes authors, poets, journalists and religious leaders from around the world.

We will also be writing letters on behalf of our newest case assignment, Chen PinLin, a Chinese documentary director who is currently imprisoned for his criticism of the government crackdown in 2022 following COVID19 which started the White Paper protest movement.
