“New Englanders might think that the winter season lacks color.  Some people call winter “the stick season”.  But like so many things in our wonderful local environment, it pays to look beyond the obvious.  Casting a discerning eye at our local woods, fields, streams, and ponds will reveal the subtle shapes, textures, and, yes, colors.  Sights that would be hidden during our spring, summer, and fall.  The essence of photography has always been to share the vision of the photographer.  This collection attempts to capture the unique winter details that were revealed to this photographer in his cold weather rambles.
