Fred Gerhard’s poems have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies including Entropy Magazine, Friends Journal, Monadnock Underground, Pif Magazine, and POETiCA REViEW. He is author of the chapbook Lilacs Still Bloom in Ashburnham: Songs of Spring (Local Gems Poetry Press, 2023) and Drifting to “Hello” (Khotso Publishing, 2023). His poems have also appeared in local art galleries. He is one of the 2023 winners of the Poetry in the Pines contest for which his work is installed on the trails at the Cathedral in the Pines in Rindge, NH. His poems have also been voiced by the actor Kirk Lawrence-Howard on YouTube. He is an editor for Quabbin Quills anthologies, and Smoky Quartz – An Online Journal of Literature and Art. For many years he led a poetry therapy group in Worcester.
