Thompson’s first poet laureate, Steve Veilleux, finds inspiration in the magical beauty of his pastoral environment. He paints with a surreal paintbrush, relentlessly combining images into his montages.  His poetry has appeared in various anthologies, including Silkworm, Connecticut Bards Poetry Review, Many Voices – One Stage, and The Nutmeg Anthology. His first poetry book, Event Horizon, is available from Amazon Books, as well as his latest collection entitled What the Moleman Said.
