In addition to the regular open mic, a special feature reading with Deborah Jane Mitsakos for her new book release Mystical Heart of Nature, published by Metaphysical Fox Press. will also take place.

Deborah Jane Mitsakos was born to a Greek family in Webster, Massachusetts. She was first inspired by the truth-seeking lyrics of Bob Dylan, Donovan & Joni Mitchell. High School is where her love of poetry began after taking her first poetry class. Her writing went silent for a time while she entered into marriage, fostered children and then adopted four of her own. She is now a grandmother. Deborah has always been drawn to the beauty of nature, and her love of wandering inspired her to begin writing again.
