Meet Maryellen D. Brisbois, author of Twelve Octobers: Reflections of a Breast Cancer Survivor, her second book following Why I Hated Pink, as she recalls the years following breast cancer treatment. Her ability to tell a story and make you feel as if you are sitting with an old friend is uncanny.

Maryellen has been a nurse for over 30 years and lives in Massachusetts with her family.
