Paintings by K. Monet will be on display and for sale during regular business hours. A meet the artist reception will take place on Saturday, August 11th, 2-4 p.m. with light refreshments. Free.

Artist’s Statement: There are a variety of topics that inspires K. Monét’s collection as a whole but most of all it is heavily influenced by the night. At night all is dark except the moon and stars that shine brightly in the sky. They act as guidance and comfort in dark times thus symbolizing the hope that life has to offer us in order to persevere through any situation. Instead of looking at the negative side of dark times, she wants the viewer to stay in a mindset of calmness and self-reflection. Through careful selection of the colors and mediums ranging from acrylic paint to ink used, she creates these serene yet mysterious sceneries.
